Late summer sessions are one of my favorites. The golden light, summer berries, sun-tanned skin, and less structured time, is a gift of the summer season. My time is not yet as hurried as it will be in the coming weeks and I hold onto it like the fleeting treasure it is. I am especially gifted with years and years of working with families, watching their children grow, seeing them develop as parents, share in the highs and lows, and feel that connection that only time and experience brings.
